The PNP Entrance Examination is open to all Filipino citizens who are not more than 30 years old and are holders of a bachelor's degree as well as to Patrolmen and Patrolwomen whose appointments are temporary for lack of appropriate eligibility.

To get an appointment schedule for application filing, the NAPOLCOM utilizes the On-Line Examination Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) for the scheduling of the filing of applications. The applicant shall log-in on the NAPOLCOM website at www.napolcom.gov.ph and click on the On- Line Examination Application Scheduling System. After logging in, he/she is required to fill out the mandatory fields.

A Confirmation message will appear if the registration is successful. The applicant must print the confirmation letter which will be presented to the NAPOLCOM Regional Office on his/her scheduled filing date.

The period of online application scheduling shall be announced through www.napolcom.gov.ph. The OLEASS uses the first letter of the applicant's family name in the scheduling of online application.

After a successful registration with OLEASS, the applicant should file his/her application in person at the Regional Office on the scheduled date. Applications received through mail or courier service shall not be processed.

To file an application, every applicant shall bring the following:

    • Printout of the Confirmation Letter with the corresponding reference number confirming the appointment
    • Two recent and identical 1x1 ID pictures with white background and complete name tag (First, Middle and Last Names)
    • Printout of the Confirmation Letter with the corresponding reference number confirming the appointment
    • One legal-sized window envelope with Twenty One Pesos (₱21.00) worth of mailing stamps
    • Transcript of scholastic record (with Special Order by CHEd) and Diploma from CHEd-accredited schools, universities, and colleges
    • Birth Certificate in security paper or certified copy of the birth certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
    • One (1) Government issued ID with signature.
    • Certified copy of Attested Appointment or Special Order (for Patrolman/Patrolwoman with temporary appointment)

The applicant shall pay the examination fee of Four Hundred Pesos (₱400.00). No other fees shall be collected.
